I can be a little bit hard on my body with how much I practice and workout. Thankfully I have an amazing Athletic Therapist. Everyone has certain areas that are more tight than others, sometimes this happens because of muscle weakness. Certain muscles compensate for said weak muscle, tightens up and then you are more susceptible to injury. Katie uses active release therapy, combined with giving me exercises that help strengthen the areas of weakness. Preventing injury is huge as an athlete, I am really grateful that I have Katie to help me keep my body functional and injury free!
